About Nick
I am an experienced and compassionate psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples looking to develop a greater understanding of their own emotions and deeper insight into the dynamics of their most important relationships.
I work in an attentive, engaged and relational manner. I approach my clients’ situations from a non-judgmental and understanding place. Together, we will challenge negative cognitions and move beyond the counter-productive thoughts that are holding you back personally or professionally
Nick is New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R). Nick completed his masters degree in clinical social work at Columbia (2015) and received his undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College (2004). He has also worked in clinical capacities at The LGBT Community Center and the Institute for Family Health. Prior to becoming a clinical therapist, Nick worked for seven years as a Case Analyst at the Innocence Project where he evaluated the cases of the wrongfully convicted and two years as a teacher at a Bronx alternative high school.
