What are your rates?

My standard fee is $225 for 45-minute individual sessions.

What if I can’t afford your rate?

I reserve a portion of my caseload for sliding scale patients. Please contact me directly to see whether this may be an option.

Do you take Insurance?

I do work with all PPO insurance plans as an out-of-network provider. Reimbursement rates generally run between 60 and 100% of the session’s fee once your deductible has been met. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can offer you two paths toward reimbursement:

• I can provide you with a monthly super bill documenting payment that you can submit to your insurance company

• I can utilize a third-party biller, Nirvana, to submit claims to a supported insurance company on your behalf

Therapy sessions with licensed clinical social workers are typically considered qualifying expenses by PPO and Flexible Spending plans.

What quesitons should I ask my insurance company?

• Do I have out-of-network mental/behavioral health benefits?

• Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, how much and has it been met?

• What amount or percentage of each therapy session is covered?

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept multiple forms of payment including cash, check, credit/debit, Venmo, PayPal, and FSA/HSA account cards.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment or do not provide at least 24 hour advanced notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of your scheduled visit. Inclement weather conditions may be considered.
